About the Artist
Danuta Jeziorska is a scientist, entrepreneur and artist whose paintings are deeply rooted in her own inner journey: an exploration of love, consciousness and what it means to be human.
This series traces the inner path of the heart — from entanglement, through liberation, to the revelation of heart’s true form. Each painting embodies a stage of becoming: the knots of memory that bind us, the release that dissolves their hold, and the emergence of the heart in its radiant wholeness.
The Journey of the Heart is not a story of fixing, but of remembering. Pain becomes an invitation to look within and discover the light and love hidden behind darkness — meeting ourselves with unconditional embrace. Seen together, the works invite us to witness the heart’s own alchemy: its innate capacity to untangle, to liberate, and to return to its timeless form — love, whole and unbroken.
A portrait of a heart in the process of remembering.
At its center lies a dense, tangled thread — a pre-verbal memory, formed before words, before thought. Over time, life’s echoes tightened the knot, binding the self to an unseen story. Yet each repetition was not punishment, but a call — an invitation to return, to see what was hidden, and begin the sacred work of untangling. As memory softens into light, what once felt heavy begins to fall away. Pain becomes an invitation. Layers dissolve, and in their place, love expands. This is not fixing — it is remembering. Meeting ourselves with unconditional love. A journey toward liberation.

The heart free from the grip of its oldest wound.
The knot of memory — once formed before words, once carried silently through lifetimes — has finally loosened. What once repeated in endless forms, weaving the same story over and over throughout lifetime, no longer binds the heart. The tangle of memory has fallen away. Each thread transformed into light, each echo returned as love. An arrow, once sharp enough to wound, approaches the heart — but breaks upon impact. What once triggered no longer holds power. Here, freedom is not the absence of life’s arrows. It is the alchemy that renders them harmless. The heart stands liberated.

The radiant heart of the self, whole and free.
A golden heart emerges — placed tenderly in the chest, as if in a sacred surgery. This is the heart of the true self: radiant, whole, and free. No longer bound by old patterns, no longer held by fear, it becomes the guiding force of life. A heart that leads not through defence, but through presence and love. The journey completes not with protection, but with becoming.

The One was pure love, but without another his love was unfelt - unproved, so he created Earth to mirror his own love. But the moment he created Earth and was expecting to feel his love back. He felt fear: what if she doesn’t love me back? this led to duality – a split of pure love into love and fear.

What appeared divided was always one.
True love had been split—tinted by fear. The One and Earth both held this duality within them, and to reunite, they each had to love all of themselves—not just the light, but the shadow. The fear within the love, and the love hidden in fear. Through this radical inclusion, the once-opposing waveforms of love and fear merged into one line again. In truth, there was only ever love - love behind the fear, love inside the pain, love in both joy and sorrow. Through love, the One and Earth became one again - as they had always been.

The body learns to exile what hurts, holding it deep within its cells, mistaking it for an enemy rather than an unmet call for love. Yet pain is not a flaw to be corrected. It is a messenger, carrying truth and a longing for safety, love, and care.
This painting is a portrait of separation at the cellular level. In turning away from what hurts, we unknowingly turn away from ourselves. Wholeness fractures not because pain exists, but because something within us is believed not to belong.
This piece does not ask you to fix or transcend what hurts. It asks for presence, to stay, to listen, and to feel with love, and in doing so, to begin the journey home.

This painting speaks of reunion, not through triumph over what hurts, but by meeting it exactly as it is, with unconditional love. Nothing is needed to be fixed or removed. What we seek has never been absent; it waits only to be recognised.
Each cell is met with care, tenderness and patience. Sensation is not approached as something to correct, but something to listen to. What was once judged, feared or pushed away is quietly welcomed back into belonging, without condition.
Here, the body is no longer a battlefield or problem to solve. It is revealed as a living field of love. As every part is allowed to belong, without intention or striving, the body rests in its own truth. What appears as reunion is the body remembering what has always been whole.

Darkness is unmet light.
There is light behind the darkness. What we hide — shame, fear, anger, grief and the feeling of not being enough, can appears opposed to love, as though it must be kept out of sight. Yet what we call darkness is not the absence of light, but light we have not yet recognised.
Courage is not moving without fear, but meeting fear with love and seeing it for what it is. When we turn toward what hurts instead of away, what once appeared as shadow begins to soften and reveal its hidden radiance.
What seemed loveless was love all along.

Abandon is an invitation to stop leaving yourself behind.
As children, we express ourselves freely. We laugh loudly, cry openly, feel deeply, and show ourselves as we are. But little by little, we begin learning which parts of us are “acceptable” and which are not, starting to believe that who we are, as we are, is not welcomed.
Abandon is a series of portraits that invites us to turn inwards and welcome these feelings and expressions back with unconditional love, to discover within ourselves the love and belonging we once looked for outside ourselves.
The paintings rest against gold background, representing light that is always present as the darkness itself is unrecognised light.
This is the beginning of an evolving series, with new feelings and expressions continuing to emerge. I would like to sincerely thank you to all participants for their openness and beauty.
Rage for being powerless.
Rage at a world that does not seem to care, the helplessness of not being able to change it, and the pain of feeling alone in trying - all belong in unconditional love.

Grief for leaving the old life behind.
Deep sadness that trusting my heart’s intuition led to the brutal unravelling of my old life, and the feelings of abandonment and complete aloneness - all belong in unconditional love.

Despair for believing that I cannot exist as I am.
Fear of punishment, isolation, self-deprivation and the deep shame of existing exactly as I am - all belong in unconditional love.
